Passionate about transforming the global culture, We Planet Earth consists of a group of philanthropists gathering funds to enhance the lives of individuals in numerous countries across the world. Through its fundraising efforts, We Planet Earth supports the work of organizations such as Save the Children.
Recognizing the vulnerability of children and the countless ways they suffer from violence and deprivation, Save the Children seeks to answer the need of each young heart to feel loved and to find hope for the future. As part of this mission, it spearheads educational interventions in rural America and in countries across the globe.
In 2018 alone, Save the Children provided education to approximately eight million children and over the past decade the organization has reached 273 million children. Its programs allow more children to attend school, and also facilitate skills learning for those already in school.
In addition, the group focuses on the early years of a child’s life in order to enhance brain development in those from birth through age six. These years are critical for children as they grow and learn skills that will enable them to succeed once they reach school age.
